ALL THE FACETS OF AN ACTIVE HOLIDAY IN BIBIONE
Bibione is the beach of sports and wellness. With its 50 km of bike paths, Bibione offers numerous routes of varying difficulty, suitable for families with children or for planned sports training. Here are some of the most popular routes:
Walk through Bibione: At 13 km long, this route lets you discover the essence of Bibione, through the seafront, the Bibione Pineta marina, and the green areas.
The Lighthouse and the Pine Forest: A dive into the green heart of Bibione, followed by a walk to the coast where the solitary lighthouse stands tall.
The Casoni and the Terzo Bacino Countryside: A journey to discover the lagoon environment where time seems to stand still, passing by the old farmer village and the Lovi Canal, perfect for a scenic walk.
Vallevecchia and Brussa: A visit to Vallevecchia, an area of great ecological interest, ideal for nature lovers, birdwatching, sport fishing, trekking, cycling, and horse riding.
The Tagliamento River: For mountain bike lovers, or for an energizing run along the riverbanks.
For the more adventurous: in July and August, a group of about 60 road cyclists spontaneously sets off at 8:00 AM for a 60 km ride at high average speeds. At sunset, there's a kayak excursion to Vallevecchia followed by a return under the moonlight.
Lignano Golf Club: Not far from Bibione, the Lignano Golf Club stretches over 6,070 meters of pine forest between Bibione and Lignano. The beautiful 18-hole, par-72 course is smooth and fun, suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers.
Near Hotel Eden, our guests can have fun on a small mini-golf course.
Let’s not forget all the fitness activities like aqua gym, aerobics, body tonic, group dancing, and the well-organized windsurfing, paddle surfing, and kite surfing schools at the free beach. In 2014, the Mizuno Beach Volley Marathon took place in Bibione, with 250 courts set up to host thousands of passionate participants from all over the world.
